LAKEWOOD, OH – Focus was the factor for North Royalton as the Bears opened up against Harbor Creek with four first-period goals en route to a 7-3 victory in the North Coast High School Hockey League division semi’s on Saturday.
Six different players scored for the Bears, led by forward Dominic Markovitz (2 goals, 1.5 assists). Goalie Braden Rapp notched 15 saves on the other end of the ice.
Huskies goaltender Ben Sowa was a busy man, stopping 28 of 35 shots – including 13 saves in the second period.
North Royalton heads to the American Division Championship vs. the rival Medina Bees on Sunday. The puck drops at 1:40 p.m.
