Loudest Silent Night Ever
To hear about her play basketball, you may think Edgewood sophomore Faith Vencill can fly. The 5’10’ forward slashed her way thru the paint and led her team with a game-high 26 points in an 83-36 win over visiting St. John on Friday. It was part one of a girls/boys double-feature on “Silent Night”, where the Edgewood student section seemingly has to stay quiet until a certain point of the game. (Like teachers, we just enjoy it.)
Fellow sophomore Carly Kray was right in stride with 16 points (including two three pointers).
Junior Alexa Jordan led the Heralds with 13 points, nine coming on a trio of three pointers.
